How often is service provided?
Service is provided every trash week. We follow the Waynesboro municipal schedule, so if your pickup is bumped a day for a holiday, we bump our service right along with it!
Is this per trash can or per household?
Our standard $50/month flat rate covers one household (typically one trash tote and one recycling tote). If you have a larger household with extra bins, no problem! Each additional tote is just $10/month.
What if I want to cancel?
No hard feelings! You can fly the coop anytime—there are no contracts or hidden fees.
What happens if trash pickup is delayed or canceled?
We follow the Waynesboro municipal schedule. If the city is a day late due to a holiday or snow, the Toucan is a day late too. We've got your back.
Do you service during bad weather?
Rain, cold, or Waynesboro snow—the Toucan stays on the move! If the city’s trucks are out collecting, we’re out rolling. In the rare event of a severe weather delay, we simply follow the municipal schedule. If they’re a day late, we’re a day late—no bird left behind!
Do I need to be home?
Nope! As long as our team can get to your bins, you can stay cozy inside. We’ll handle the heavy lifting.
What if I have extra bags outside the tote?
Occasional extra bags may be collected at no charge. If overflow is regular, we’ll recommend an additional tote or a small per-bag fee.
How many totes do most homes need?
Most households are fine with one trash and one recycling tote.
What counts as bulk or oversized items?
Items too large to fit inside a standard tote (furniture, mattresses, large boxes, etc.).
What if a pickup is missed?
That week is credited automatically.
Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are not issued for completed service periods. If a service issue occurs, we’ll work quickly to make it right.
How does bin cleaning work?
We use professional pressure washing and deodorizing methods to deep clean your trash bins, removing grime, buildup, bacteria, and odor.
Is deodorizer included with cleaning?
Yes. Every bin cleaning includes a deodorizer treatment to help keep bins fresher between cleanings.
Do I need to be home for bin cleaning?
No. As long as your bins are accessible, we complete the service and return them clean and ready to use.
What’s the difference between one-time and recurring cleaning?
One-Time Clean ($40): A deep reset for dirty or smelly bins
Recurring Clean ($30/month): Scheduled maintenance cleanings to keep bins consistently fresh

Trashcan Toucan provides weekly trash valet service, which includes moving trash bins to the curb for collection and returning them after pickup.
Trashcan Toucan operates in typical weather conditions including rain and winter weather, provided it is safe to do so and municipal collection is active.
Service is dependent on access to bins and local trash collection schedules.
If service is missed due to weather, blocked access, or changes in municipal collection, service will resume at the next scheduled pickup.
No refunds are provided for completed service periods. Customers may cancel their subscription at any time.
Trashcan Toucan provides one-time deep cleaning as scheduled or monthly cleaning. If more frequent cleaning is required, or if you have a special request, please contact us for a custom service plan.
Access to Water: Customer agrees to provide access to an outdoor water spigot in good working order. If no water source is available, please notify us 48 hours in advance so we can make alternative arrangements (additional fees may apply).
Drainage & Runoff: We use eco-friendly, biodegradable cleaning agents. Cleaning will be performed at the curb or on the driveway. While we take every precaution, Trashcan Toucan is not responsible for pre-existing cracks in driveway surfaces or drainage issues on the property.
Bin Condition & Contents: Bins must be empty of all trash and debris before the cleaning service. If a bin contains heavy waste, pet waste, or hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, etc.), we reserve the right to skip the service to prevent equipment damage or environmental contamination.
Scheduling & Weather: Washing services typically happen on the same day as your trash collection but may be delayed due to extreme weather (freezing temperatures or heavy storms). If we have to reschedule, you will be notified via text/email.
Property Access: For commercial dumpsters and gated residential areas, the customer must ensure the service area is accessible and clear of vehicles or obstructions during the scheduled service window.
Customer acknowledges that pressure washing may reveal or expose pre-existing issues including but not limited to:
Cracks
Chips
Surface pitting
Oxidation
Loose concrete
Peeling sealant
Uneven coloration
Company is not responsible for damage related to pre-existing surface defects or improperly installed/cured surfaces.
Certain stains may not be fully removable. No guarantees are made regarding complete stain removal or exact cosmetic results.
Customer agrees to provide reasonable access to a water source unless otherwise arranged.
Customer is responsible for:
Removing vehicles
Clearing obstacles
Securing pets
Ensuring accessible work areas
Additional fees may apply for excessive delays or inaccessible surfaces.
While we make reasonable efforts to manage runoff, customer acknowledges that water and debris may flow into nearby drainage areas during cleaning.
Services may be rescheduled due to:
Rain
Lightning
Freezing temperatures
Unsafe working conditions
Any concerns regarding completed work must be reported within 24–48 hours of service completion so we can review the issue.
Payment is due:
Upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Late payments may be subject to additional fees.
Company shall not be liable for:
Pre-existing damage
Improperly maintained surfaces
Damage caused by age or deterioration
Water intrusion from pre-existing gaps/seals
Landscaping stress from runoff or overspray
Surface imperfections revealed during cleaning
By scheduling service, customer acknowledges and accepts these terms and conditions.
