How the credit actually works.
- You get $5 off your monthly rate for every new customer you refer. There is no cap on how many people you can refer.
- The credit is permanent and it stacks. Three referrals is $15 off every month, not $15 once.
- The person you refer has to become an active paying customer before the credit starts. A signup that never activates doesn’t count.
- The credit continues as long as you and the person you referred both stay active. If a referred customer cancels, that one $5 comes back off your credit — the rest of your referrals are unaffected.
- Your bill floors at $0. It never goes negative, and we don’t pay out cash for referrals past that point.
- At 12 referrals your service is free, and that’s when we want to talk to you about getting paid for referrals instead.
- We apply these credits by hand, so give us a few days after your neighbor signs up for it to show up on your bill. If it doesn’t, call us and we’ll fix it.
